When you are starting a new blog it is very important to think of the blogging platform. I had used Blogger and Wordpress. Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. Blogger is from Google and it is completely free. You can easily create a Blog by using your gmail id. You can use the themes to make it colorful. Wordpress is also free but if you want to use a domain name you have to pay for it. You need to pay if you want to change the theme. So when I started Blogging long back I choose Blogger later I moved to my own web hosting with wordpress installed on it. Now I have control over my Blog. So if you are planning to start a new Blog then you need to think of your requirements and choose the best blogging platform.
